Information Page for Pomoxis annularis hybrid (White crappie x black crappie hybrid)

The crappies (genus Pomoxis) have been know to interbreed producing these individuals. An individual with body characteristics that are mixed between the two species is a quick tip-off to fisheries scientists that they have an fish of mixed parents.
